The Shellharbour Netball Club Constitution outlines the rules, responsibilities, and structure that govern our club’s operations. It provides guidance on membership, committee roles, decision-making processes, and the conduct expected of all members.
Our constitution ensures transparency, accountability, and fairness in all aspects of club management, helping us maintain a strong and inclusive community.
Netball NSW and Affiliates seek to provide a safe, fair and inclusive environment for everyone involved in Netball.
To achieve this, Netball NSW and Affiliates require certain standards of behaviour of players/athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, parents/guardians (of Child participants) and spectators.
The Codes of Behaviour are underpinned by the following core values:
• To act within the rules and spirit of Netball.
• To display respect and courtesy towards everyone involved in Netball and prevent
discrimination, bullying and sexual harassment.
• To prioritise the safety and well-being of Children and Young People involved in Netball.
• To encourage and support opportunities for participation in all aspects of Netball.
The Shellharbour Netball Club Regulations set out the rules, expectations, and procedures that guide the day-to-day operations of the club. These regulations cover areas such as player and spectator conduct, uniforms, team responsibilities, and general club operations. They are designed to promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all members.
At Shellharbour Netball Club, the safety and wellbeing of every child and young person involved in our club is our highest priority.
We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where all children and young people feel respected, valued, and protected. Our club actively upholds the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations, and we expect all members, coaches, officials, and volunteers to share this commitment.
We have zero tolerance for any form of child abuse or harm. We take all concerns seriously and are dedicated to creating a culture where children’s voices are heard and their rights are upheld.
Together, we are building a child-safe club where young people can thrive, grow, and enjoy netball in a safe and positive space.
The Shellharbour Netball Club Grading Policy outlines the process used to place players into teams each season. It aims to ensure teams are balanced, competitive, and appropriate to each player's skill level, experience, and development needs. Our policy is guided by fairness, transparency, and the long-term growth of all players.
